Is it free to design an event site?: Yes, completely. Every template, section, game, theme control, and line-by-line editor is open in draft and preview — no locked features. You only decide to pay once you're ready to go live.
When do I pay?: Nothing until you publish. Design and preview as long as you want for free, then publish one event for a one-time $12.99 — no subscription, no recurring fee.
What's included when I publish?: Everything you built in the editor, plus your live guest site with a shareable URL, an active QR code, and Display Mode for the room. It works right in the browser on iPhone or Android — no app to download for guests. After the event, you get an after-event summary and a full gallery of guest photos to download — photos stay available for 3 months. One flat fee, no separate paid add-ons to track down.
Can guests use games, gallery, and slideshows on one site?: Yes — that's the whole point. Guests open one link on their phone and everything is right there: play trivia together, drop photos into the shared gallery, watch the live slideshow. No separate app, no account, no download — just tap the link and join in.
Do I need separate apps for guests?: No, and that's by design. Guests never download anything — they open your link in their phone's browser and it just works, on iPhone or Android. Lower friction means more guests actually play the games and add photos instead of bailing at an app-store download screen.
