Terms & Conditions
Effective date: July 30, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Eventeract. By creating an account, publishing an event, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to create a host account or make a purchase. If you use Eventeract for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. The service
Eventeract lets hosts create and publish event websites that may include invitations, schedules, galleries, slideshows, messages, RSVPs, and interactive games. Hosts control their event content and distribution of event links. Guests may interact with an event without creating a host account.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that the service or any event site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Eventeract a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical purposes, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate and secure the service and provide the event experience you request.
Eventeract does not sell event photos or use them for its own marketing, advertising, analytics, artificial intelligence training, or unrelated purposes. Our license to event photos is limited to the technical processing needed to provide host-selected features such as galleries, slideshows, sharing, storage, and downloads.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for all content you submit, including photos of other people, music, trademarks, links, and guest information. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of your content and for obtaining any required consents or notices.
Event links may be shared or forwarded. Do not place sensitive personal information on an event site. We may remove content that violates these terms, infringes rights, creates risk, or is otherwise unlawful or harmful.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Eventeract to:
- Break the law or violate another person's rights;
- Upload content that is fraudulent, threatening, hateful, exploitative, obscene, defamatory, or infringing;
- Harass others, distribute malware or spam, impersonate a person, or collect information without appropriate permission;
- Probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or interfere with the service or its security controls;
- Access the service through unauthorized automated means, scrape it, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits; or
- Resell or commercially exploit the service without our written permission.
5. Fees and purchases
Prices, features, and taxes are shown before purchase. By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable charge and agree to provide current billing information. Payment processing may be handled by a third-party provider under its own terms.
Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, completed purchases are non-refundable. We may change future pricing at any time, but changes will not retroactively alter a completed purchase.
6. Eventeract ownership
Eventeract and its software, designs, branding, templates, documentation, and other service materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Eventeract at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take protective measures if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created legal or security risk, failed to pay applicable fees, or misused the service.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and general legal terms.
8. Accessibility
Eventeract is committed to providing a service that is accessible to people with disabilities. We work to improve usability and accessibility and aim to follow generally recognized accessibility practices, including relevant portions of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), where reasonably practicable.
Because hosts control event text, colors, images, links, and other event content, each host is responsible for making the content they add accessible and for providing suitable alternatives or accommodations to their guests when needed.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please use our accessibility contact form and include the page or feature involved and a description of the issue. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate the concern and provide access through an alternative method when appropriate.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventeract is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Eventeract is a technology platform and is not responsible for events, hosts, guests, user content, third-party links, or interactions between users.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventeract and its affiliates, officers, employees, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Eventeract during the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Eventeract harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your event, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or another person's rights.
10. General terms
These terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement regarding the service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised terms and update the effective date. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
